Australian Teachers Of Media Victoria have selected Beyond The Fire as part of their curriculum for Victorian schools in 2023

Although bush fires have always played a significant role in Australia, the scale, impact and intensity of the 2019-2020 bushfire season has had a profound impact on the Australian psyche. Beyond the Fire series allows students to explore what is already a highly relevant topic through a mental health lens. It would also serve as a useful supplementary text to the study of Geography, most notably: Year 10: Environmental change and management.
